The weird thing is... that i've no FAT at all. My games are on a NTFS partition (the only one partition of the DD).
In GX i use 249 to load games ^^
Sorry i meant to say NTFS, because the engine is the same for FAT or NTFS launching. Maybe GX switches to 222 automatically when a FAT/NTFS part. is used, CFG used to do that too until it was possible to use FAT/NTFS on 249rev18+ too.
Have you tried using ios 222 in CFG?

Seems you are all right ^^ Thanks, sorry my fault.. launch game via CFG using ios 222 works.
What can i do to make ntfs dump working?

What can i do to make ntfs dump working?
ntfs_write=1
that's the only option that needs to be set.
If it doesn't work I don't know what's wrong.
Are you installing from originals or backups?

erf :/ I try ntfs_write=1 in config.txt but doesn't work

i'm installing from backups.

Even if have "covers_path = USB:/img" somewhere in "SD:/usbloader/config.txt" it uses "SD:/usbloader/covers/" to store new downloaded images.
So what can i do?

Also, can i disable that thing wich checks for space in disk? I have CFG starting in GUI and when i, accidentaly or not, hit B to open console, it takes forever checkig my 120G FAT HD. Is there any option like "auto_space_checks = 0" To check it only when i try to install a game or chose this option?

i'm installing from backups.
Then i guess those backups are faulty or maybe unencrypted or patched or something.
Try installing from an original DVD.
Does it work if you install from those backups to FAT or WBFS?

hide_hddinfo = 1

about covers, I'm not sure if that's the problem but, i think it has to be lowcase usb:/... not USB:/...
also, what does it say in global options under FS:
It should be like: FS: [sd: usb:]
you can try adding debug=1 to config.txt and the used cover path will be printed out at the startup, check if it matches your setting.

Aha, so what you are trying to do is: have the loader on SD and the covers on HDD, but have 2 different HDDs, one has FAT the other NTFS and you want to exchange them without changing settings on SD. Did I understand correctly?

yes, you got me right
smile.gif

when i remember correctly, i can have a config in theme folder, so i will duplicate the theme(sameone), rename the name of theme, and have my switchable config

for the other thing
i know it is linux based, but as windows does not handle different cases, it may be usefull to check, if "same" folder (with upper/lowercase) is available, and if needed only rename it

on SD card it worked as 2D, on ntfs it worked only as 2d
glad, that i didnt delete the 2D folder with shift, else i would hav elost both and the content

Pip'
Is that repeatable? Always or just a random occurance?
Does it work with any other cfg version / ios / other loader?

About themes, interesting idea but it wont work because covers_path is not a themable option.

About case sensitivity, it's a known thing with ntfs, i might look into that but it's a low priority thing.

@ oggzee, how do i get it to just display CD covers? i have gone through each display of game covers but not seen the disc cover style

i use a partitioned usb, run games from ntfs on rev 60 ios 249

another note, i really like this usb loader a lot, it works for most of my games, even running them off a partitioned hdd it works nicely
i have had a couple of crashses, more on wii play it crashes when leaving a game back to the game menu, also boom blox crashes on me a lot too

need help with guitar hero 5. its black screen, i tried 223 mload. but it says its not compatible.
What IOS are you using as the base for cIOS223?
The only cIOS I know works is Hermes v4 with 38 merged with 37.

Quick question:
I have a problem with "Rayman Raving Rabbids" (PAL). Somewhere in the game (in the catwalk-part e.g.) the second WiiMote refuses to work. It stays connected but the character isn't moving. If I press the Home-Button (to get to the screen where I can register the WiiMotes) the WiiMote starts working instantly.
I tried 249 and 222. I haven't got the time to test with the DVD (and my Wii is not here currently.

Could this be a problem with cfg-USB-Loader? What else can I do?
Thanks, Florian.

Do you happen to have your Wii set to PAL60? RRR has massive timing errors if you are playing it that way. Try setting the Wii to 480i or 480p.

Wow, that's fast. Yes, I think I've set this as default (as I thought this is standard here). Will try as soon as I get my Wii back (and report success).

Thanks & have a nice day!
