I'm having some trouble. It seems that Configurable USB Loader simply does not recognize my SD card. It can't mount the card, doesn't read my configuration, and doesn't show the covers I have saved on it. I can run my games but that's pretty much the only functionality I have.

I tried everything I could think of which admittedly wasn't a lot. If it helps, it's a Kingston 4GB SDHC card. Hopefully the solution isn't just to buy a new card. I'm using v56 and ios249. Any suggestions?

@ Jabe i have cfg 57b5 m222 for loading my hdd i don't get the same message as you either because i have 223 v4 or because i use the 222 version of cfg.

anyway it seems your game is set to default 223, so you want to make sure that under game option and/or global option (which ever you prefer) you have 222 selected as your default.

@ onad0301 if you mean downloading through your pc or through wifi there is no prob it just replaces your boot.dol either way.

@Neuropod run your config.txt through configurator and check that your sdhc is set as the default device under global options 1 tab

I forgot the main reason i was typing this post...

@ Dr.Clipper I found my problem with POP it turned out, i did make a good copy of the game. i used Wii Game Manager to make the .wbfs in to a .iso. then converted it back to a .wbfs with a 1:1 copy option, i just finished playing a full hour more. i this rate i might beat the game in a day or two. I would try copying the data to your computer, formatting the SD card, and putting it all back. If that doesn't work try another SD card whether it's buying a new one or a spare.

Using the Configurator / by manually editing the configuration files, is there any way for this loader to show the region of a game in addition to the title?

i've never really given the region any thought, but if i did i guess the answer is idk.
but what i can tell you is when the loader downloads the game covers it does download the correct one for the games region.
also is you set the video default to system and the language default to console. you should not run into problems playing the game. no matter the region

I'm already using 222 version of cfg, and it's some game loading problem, all my games play fine.
The error message appears sometimes when loading cfg channel from Wii menu. Before being able to see gamelist.

Is there a way to organize this?

I'm not using any special effects thing, it just shows the covers like:

    [] [] [] []
    [] [] [] []

They just aren't in ABC order...any ideas?

What version of cIOS249 do you have? There are a few that can not read SDHC cards.
    Upgrade to cIOS249 rev19.

You can push B and you will get a console listing. You can push down a few times and it will select other grid patterns or one of the coverflow modes. The coverflow modes only use a single line of images.

All modes are sorted by default via title sort. This means that they are sorted alphabetically, but the words "A", "An" or "The" at the start of the title are ignored. You can change the sort procedure to be fully alphabetic by adding the line sort_ignore=0 to config.txt.

Hello, I am using cfg USB Loader v56 and I have a problem. I am using an external hdd with three partitions, one partition for games(WBFS), one partition for Triiforce(FAT32) and one partition for storing all the covers and data for cfg USB Loader(FAT32) , my problem is that cfg USB Loader picks the first FAT32 partition for having all my covers on it when it doesn't have the cfg USB Loader covers on it. It once worked then I put files on the 1st partition for Triiforce, then I went back to cfg USB Loader and it automatically picked the first FAT32 partition for covers. I have changed the second FAT32 partition to active and it still doesn't work. Is there A way to change the partition it uses for the covers to another partition? If not that I would recommend you adding that option, it would help other people too [IMG]

EDIT: Forgot to add that I have put the config.txt in the second partition(the one with the covers) too and it didn't work.

did you try going to the global settings, by pushing the number 1 button twice while in cfg loader. next selecting the correct partion option followed by pressing the number 2 button to save that option change.

Yes but the only thing you can change is the partition that you load games off of, I don't see the option of changing the partition that it uses to load the covers, if you can, can you tell me what to press? And sorry for sounding like a noob..

    Olá Dr. Clipper
I was having some problem with cfg 57b4 and other loaders (neogama r7, r8, usbloader GX) playing Rygar - Battle of Argus. The game freezes randomly in diferent points, like 20, 30 min. of game. When restart wii and load last save, I can pass through freeze point and play for more 20, 30min. then freeze again. I was loading game with ios 249 rev14 (and the loader too), with default configurations (and the new patchs (pop and DVD).

I try this config: Loader in 249 and game on ios 222-mload and I can play during 4 hours with no freezes! [IMG]

My dumb question is: what is the "mload" writed in side of "222".

Second question: I acquired COD MW Reflex and I want do backup in HD. To play COD MW Reflex with CFG Usbloader 57v4b I have to config the loader with a specific configuration? (like alt dol, wdm, patch, etc? I read many problems with this game).

By the way, my first experience with alt dol (Disc+) was with Red Steel 1 and works fine with RED.wdm

Tenx for your attention and hardwork.

You should upgrade from rev14 to rev19. Use IOS57 as the base.

"mload" is the name of the module the developers added to the cIOS.

I have COD: MW Reflex working on my Wii. I don't feel like turning it on to see what settings I have it on.

Download the latest version from the first page. Here is the zip file http://cfg-loader.googlecode.com/files/Cfg_USB_Loader_56.zip

After transferring the files from the ZIP to your SD card launch CFG and update.

@pedimaisum update to 57b5, because 57b4 had issue with codes not saving.

@tecatoman using 57b5 mload222 u should have no problem playing the game with default settings. unless it is from a different region, in which case just change your video settings to console or system i get them mixed up.
