Thanks,

I know that I am sounding like a noob, but where does it put the created file? On the HD partition? And again sorry but are these then accessed via the HBC of directly of the Channels page?

SORRY...??

what i suppose i am trying to ask is Does this make WAD files? or some other form ( dols? )

Absolutely brilliant - love the Mac version. Thanks so much!
Not sure if it's my HDD or the program though - I often get hit with a "Caching" message when I extract an ISO, and the resulting file doesn't seem to work.

I have deleted my partition but how do I format it now??? I tried ./WBFS -p /dev/disk4s1 init but WBFS for Mac won't detect it... Disk Utility doesn't detect any partitions...

when I do the command, I do not get any confirmation or anything. I do not have any partitions on my drive. Just free space which CAN be made into a partition.

is it passable to make a app that makes a .wad channel with help of the "HBC" folders ??

so I can launch iso games strate from the Wii menu..

PS. sorry for my bad english...

I think I got everything working. One problem. Its been running for about 10 minutes and it has .11% done with 69:57:10 left. Why so slow? Its going .03% every 3 or 4 minutes. Somethings wrong right?

Hi guys!

I downloaded your compiled console wbfs (i was reading all the post, nice work

!). But i had a problem. When i tried to copy a game into the HDD it puts me that the ETA was 1 hour, while in linux is about 2 minutes in the same HDD :s.

With the GUI that you post today (or yestarday, i've got 2 AM xD) it puts the same, 1,5 hours.

Here you have two pics:

I've got another partition (in NTFS) and it works well at full speed :s.

What do you think that it would be?.

For the guys with the speed problems, are you using USB hubs or directly connecting to the computer? I can't imagine why a hub would slow it down that much, but I get a consistent 13MB/sec on my copies directly connected to the computer.

i'm pluged in directly. its telling me that i have 46 hrs left on madworld w/ 1.2% done

It works perfectly but I am having speed problems as well. The drive is connected directly to the macbook. Total time to add a Madworld ISO was about 30min.

I am using a WD drive that went from a Mac partition to a WBFS partition using the USB Loader.

Other than the speed problem great job on a great looking and functional utility.

Not sure what's going on with some of you guys going super slow... Mine copies at normal speed using an old busted drive in a cheap external inclosure.

A little update on the WBFS For MacOS X, added a safety check to make sure the HDD is still connected before an operation begins. You can now Drag & Drop for adding and extracting. I would like to add in a queue so that you can do multiple files at once but I probably wont get to that tonight.

Going to do some bug testing but we should have a new release soon.

just used parallels and the transfer took ~15 minute. it was telling me 42 hrs in osx

What are the specs of your mac and drive...specifically the drive?

Is it a branded external or a DIY rig?

I'm having speed issues too.
Emtec 8GB USB Stick plugged directly into 1.8Ghz Duo, 1st Gen Macbook w/ 2GB of RAM. Took about 3hours to dump Fifa 09 compared to 45 minutes if I use my Wii. I'll reboot to Windows and check the speeds there.
