So I want to compile the source code for Mupen64Plus in order to try it on my vita (if that is possible right now), but, after trying for hours, have been having continuous trouble. I looked online for tutorials, and every one I tried didn't work. I installed the vita sdk, and vdpm, but it never compiles. Could someone help me or maybe even compile it themselves? Any help is greatly appreciated! The source code is here:https://github.com/libretro/mupen64plus-libretro.

They say they're working on a N64 Emulator from the ground up for VITA.

But we have seen 0 progress or anything for that matter since then. I honestly don't think Vita is strong enough to run n64 in any significantly better way compared to PSP.

Don't all N64 games end up being Super Mario 64 emulators anyway? They don't seem to run anything else particularly well. Have you tried Killer Instinct 64 on them? Ick.

Buy two glue your old screen to the bottom, makeshift Ds
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
i want that anbernic sp too
  • Veho @ Veho:
I have their previous SP clone and it's great but the new one has analog sticks, a better screen and twice the RAM. Which I'm not sure makes any difference but twice is twice.
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
the screen looks a lot more punchy
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's exactly three times the resolution of the GBA so there's no resampling in full screen. Integer scaling FTW.

And the colors look great in review videos.

  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
i like my miyoo mini but mainly just play gb and gbc on it cuz the shoulders are ill-placed
  • Veho @ Veho:
I expected the shoulder buttons on mine to feel weird but the L1/R1 feel just like the GBA SP and the L2/R2 aren't in the way.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Did you have a GBA SP?
