HID-to-Vpad might work. It lets controllers act as the GamePad (in fact the plugin for Aroma you can get from the Discord server only supports spoofing the GamePad IIRC). You might need to make a config file based on the VID/PID and button values found using HID-Test (PC jar file or Wii U homebrew).
It's not what I need... That's just useful for playing Gamecube games with WiiU Pro Controller or Gamecube controllers by using the GC adapter. I don't need that for WiiU games that support WiiU Pro Controllers/Wii motes, since I got them all

I NEED TO USE THE WIIU PRO CONTROLLER AS A WIIU GAMEPAD IN "WIIU GAMEPAD ONLY" GAMES INSTEAD! Especially for those games that don't need touchscreen, motion controls and microphone exclusively.
I want to play Splatoon in single player mode WITHOUT being forced to use the WiiU gamepad, for example.
I share these sentiments and want the same. I've tested the HIDtoVPad plugin that @ArgoRV attached in the original post. Gladly it does work in Aroma but even with USB controllers that should work on the original Tiramisu version they don't work on my WiiU. Instead I need to use the HID to VPad Network Client jar file to connect the controllers over the network, but that works relatively well. Few downsides is sometimes after a while of use, between 20-30 minutes it'll just freeze and no longer accept a connection. Also if the controller is idle for more than 10-15 seconds, the stick data sent to the WiiU will zero out, which is bad for most joypad configs go from 00-ff with the middle hex 80 being the rest zone. So for example in splatoon if the contorller goes idle you'll run diagonally backwards while the camera shoots to the top left. Though if you're actively playing, it seems to behave normally. Outside of again that occasional HID to Pad plugin itself locking up, requiring going back to the home screen, or a soft reset for it to reload.

This is very useful, I'm very interested in re_nfpii but when I tried to install it a few months ago it did not work on my Wii U, I already have the .bin files I do not need them.

I have a question regarding the app that turns off gamepad screen, can it work on vWii when playing with the gamepad?

Yes, but you need to quickly press the button combo while its loading or while still in WiiU mode. Once the console goes into vWii practically all WiiU plugins are disabled. So the button combo won't work anymore.

Thank you, btw I fixed the first issue with the re_nfpii plugin, will try this advice later because I am having another issue with Aroma now where when I exit a Wii VC game back to Wii U it gets stuck on black screen.
Turns out the issue might be related to a specific game (or maybe several) but anyway the issue should be fixed...

Anyway, I'd like to be able use a Switch Pro controller on vWii and turn off the gamepad, how do I do that step by step?

So far I've not been able to pull this off. Using a pro controller in WiiU and even spoofing it on top of the gamepad with HID to VPad is doable, but even when using a VC Inject forwarder I can't get any other controllers working within vWii. Even trying to use the fakemote.app in cIOS didn't help me. Even my gamecube adapter isn't working within vWii, only in smash bros for WiiU which is really annoying personally. Only success I've had is getting the gamepad to spoof to a classic controller for a VC Inject Nintendont forwarder. Outside of that I've had no success. So best of luck to you, and if you figure something out let me know. Would very much like to use my 8bitdo controller for more games.

Bloopair and Aroma plugins are not available on vWii enviroment. An easy way to turn off the gamepad in vWii mode, just take it and walk away from the console until it disconnects, then press the power button on gamepad.

in vWii mode you just press and hold the power button on the gamepad, no need to walk away.

Added. Thanks

I saw it few days ago, but I thought it was still work in progress
It is for the most part, the plugin is stable to use but I want to add one more extra feature for then start considering releasing v1.0

Papaya HUD plugin is amazing. It tells everything about CPU/GPU but it still misses an important thing for me... I mean the CPU/GPU temp. When do people add this important thing to this awesome plugin? I guess they can do it without any problem. I WANNA KNOW if the WiiU is overheating or not, especially in the very hot days!

There is something I don't understand...On a WIIU, you Can't you modify the System Without plugins?
But there are tool that CAN do permanent changes! Example:
UFDiine Delete or create the update folder located at /vol/storage_mlc01/sys/update allowing that no Update Happens.
What I would wish for: The Gamepad's showoff Screen on the TV direclty at startup of the wiiU, When I set on my wiiu connected to my TV screen, I "cannot" navigate on my tv screen without the gamepad. When You have a simple WII, it's perfectly allright= you can use directly the wiimote on the screen on the menu screen, it's not the case on a wiiU.
No "Two" screen mode!!
Why cannot a tool like UFDIINE (And not a plugin) change this and do a "permanent" change?

Plugins are much easier to use, but even more so to develop. The reason UFDiine exists is that it was a necessary homebrew for almost all users, and it functions in a very simple way (just deleting the update folder). Doing a code edit like what you mentioned (without a plugin) would require manually patching the menu binary on your nand through a hex editor or similiar, and is both very dangerous and time consuming, compared to easily patching the specific code you want in memory (no nand edits necessary!)

Also, you can switch screens and navigate the menu with any controller. Press x (or 1 on wiimote) and you're good to go!

Maybe Because when there is multiple plugins, the more there are, and the more there can be a situation with "no control" in memory with things going wrong, Of course, you didn't think of that. Also, if the plugin file goes slightly corrupted on your SD, you will not know where your future bugs will come from ^^

This is like a stupid answer, like saying "just pedal and the situation will be corrected", the situation should be in a perfect way from the beginning and stay like that.

@SDarkrai When I read this type of response, I understand why "true" Progress doesn't go on.....Some people are satisfied by the patch that must be applied each time for correcting an answer ^^
TRUE PROGRESS is like this:
1 Analyze what is Wrong
2 Make indeed a temp memory patch to solve temporary the solution and test it a lot to be sure it's working allright, that is called a plugin
3 After all these lab tests, create a real change on the system once for good.
The person that created UFDiine has really done something to solve a real problem, not a temporary batch to solve it.
A tool to create real changes on the OS from plugins would greatly be needed, I want you to admit it, if not, it just means you don't really understand the concept of improving an OS environnement for good.

Of course, you didn't think of that.
Because we have full control in memory... But anyway:
Also, if the plugin file goes slightly corrupted on your SD, you will not know where your future bugs will come from ^^
Now imagine the same on your NAND. Good luck unbricking that.
There's a reason modern CFWs just put a little, small payload loader into NAND which then stageloads from SD.

the situation should be in a perfect way from the beginning and stay like that.
So where's your great CFW doing exactly what you want? Aren't you as perfect as you want others to be?

3 After all these lab tests, create a real change on the system once for good.
And then there's a overseen bug and 3000 consoles brick. How do you software expert handle this situation?
