After being in Early Access for almost a year, developer Dream Powered Games is ready to launch its competitive FPS Warstride Challenges into version 1.0 and debut on consoles. A release date trailer that also provides an overview of the gameplay was aired for the announcement today:

Warstride Challenges has rolled out loads of new content across nearly a year of community feedback and development during early access. More than 60 intense trials have been added to the game spanning a variety of difficulties, delivering content for everyone from beginners to the most hardcore in the community. The game has also debuted fresh abilities and a new weapon to offer alternative ways to play – burst your way through demons with the stomp, give foes your best headshot with the carabin, and fling yourself around each stage as you unlock new maneuvers with the grappling hook.

To increase competition between players, Warstride Challenges added a live multiplayer mode letting you race against your friends and finally find out who is the FPS master. Since early access began, the development team has dedicated a lot of time and love to the community of builders on PC in order to give them the tools they need to create the best levels for fellow players. On top of all that, 1.0 will provide even more content with tons of new levels and a brand-new game mode.

Warstride Challenges will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and 1.0 version on PC this September 7.
