I just dumped L.A. Noire personally at GameStop waiting for my bus, so I’ll have the results when I get home from this party I’m going to.

EDIT: Just tried it with 1.2. Still not working. My personal dump with WAIN.

Nba 2k18 stuck on this. I update the game already on my home screen but as soon as i run nba2k18 on sxos it just stuck on that.

Game Dumps with Issues that Occur on SX OS:

LA Noire - Game Boots to Black Screen
1-2 Switch - Eating Contest game causes freeze
Labo 01 - Game Boots to Black Screen
Labo 02 - Game Boots to Black Screen
Dragon Quest 1 & 2 - Does not Boot
Winning Post 7 2017 - Game Boots to Black Screen
Winning Post 8 2018 - Game Boots to Black Screen

all the other games work perfectly!

Update to above;
Yoku's Island Express - atleast EUR version - does not work , dumped with gcdumper, wain multiple times.
Always gives a software error occurred when booting.
People have noted that the US version does work.

Try to delete your NBA savegame if u have one. Had the same problem and it worked.

I actually only played it once in my life, and that was on switch after downloading it... I actually don't care for it, but I've since bought NBA 2k18 for my non hacked Switch because, its 20 bucks, and its a damn good game

LA Noire does not work on SX OS when ran from either cart or backup, for anyone. Including you. eShop purchases may work, the issue is cartridge file system related.

Bought it like I actually did with all games I currently use SX OS for.
It's available at retail but the scene has not bothered with this game in any form yet it seems.

Self dumped it using multiple dumpers. Which means I will not be sharing it because of the certs.
But sadly this game, at least the EU version fails to work with SX OS at the moment.
So even sharing a non cert dump would not benefit you at this point.

LA Noire does not work on SX OS plain and simple.
With update, without update, scene release, personal dumps etc etc.
Team Xecuter even acknowledged that this is one release that simply does not work.

What we can try with it, has been tried. We need to wait until something is found to remedy that.

It's the internet, we never know for sure.

But I can confirm that a personal dump done with gcdumper or wain fails after booting the cart and the nintendo switch logo.
This includes both the situation with and without the update.
People other then me have tested the scene release of LA Noire and have found similair issues with both scenarios.
TX stated that it is a known issue.

I wish it was otherwise really, but if only one works and well a lot of reports tell you otherwise. Well you can do the math on that
Thats not saying I dont believe it might ... but the chances of it look very very slim to me.

Also for the record; I dumped 44 personal dumps, of which only 2 have issues; LA Noire and the above mentioned EUR version of Yoku's Island Express.

That much I understood. It's just that this is the third time I hear about those mysterious "people" on various forums, who successfully loaded US dump, yet there is no such dump freely available. I wish they just released it, and we will know for sure

I get what you mean but it was actually here on GBATemp someone noted it. Keep in mind it could just be a personal dump as well that they tested.
But I can get why you want to play it, it's a fun and bizarre mix of a game
