at least for me anyways
Oh ok. I thought their were added benefits.

I was wondering the same thing.

So you would be mestapho there and I would be Kerisaki

@Triassic911

Yeah the only added benefit would be a cooler GUI and maybe more depending on what cart you have

EDIT: Hey Mestapho did you move the ttdidl.dat and ttpatch.dat, as if it does work then CannonFoddr's theory would be right, SDHC must have the files with the YSMenu folder, while normal SD doesn't and would explain why you can't make it work!

I'm gonna find my SDHC and test it out as I'm using a normal SD

Nope I'm not going to have a chance to test all of this goodness until late this evening (California time).
I bet it works like a charm though.

It's weird that the file placement would be different for sd vs. sdhc though.

SuperCard DSonei - Autobooting Moonshell2 as Alternate Firmware

Downloading the Tools - ( Back up your SD card before starting this )

YSMenu - Click here
Moonshell2 - Click here
TTIO.DLDI - Click here
DIDL Tool - Click here
YSLoader - Click here
TTMenu - Click here
MSFORSC by JMR - Click here
_____________________________

Note: For YSMenu and TTIO.DLDI you have to Ctrl-F them since Yasu doesn't like direct linking to his stuff.

MSFORSC.NDS - ( I think if you don't use this you will get "No English Ver. Please turn off NDS" )
_____________________________

Use the MSFORSC.NDS you downloaded and put it to the root of your SD card.
Extract TTMenu folder and TTMENU.DAT to the root of your SD card.
_____________________________

Setting up YSMenu - ( Remember to delete the TTMENU.DAT from the SD card after these steps )
_____________________________

Create a folder called YSMenu in your desktop and extract YSMenu there.
Put TTMENU.DAT into that folder*** you just made and run "ttextract.exe" and should make "ttdldi.dat" and "ttpatch.dat"
Put those two files into the root of your SD card
Create a folder called YSMenu in your SD card and drag "YSMenu.nds" "YSMenu.ini" "ttdldi.dat" "ttpatch.dat" into this folder.
_____________________________

***Note: You can now delete TTMENU.DAT from your SD card if you didn't already.

Setting up Moonshell2 - ( If you didn't delete the TTMENU.DAT from before know you will know why )
_____________________________

Extract Moonshell and put the "mooshl2 folder" in the root of you SD card.
Extract YSLoader and put "nds.YSloaderForMS2.nds" and "config.ini" in /moonshl2/extlink.
Rename "moonshell_DirectBoot.nds" to TTMENU.DAT and DLDI it with TTIO.DIDL

No credit to me, I didn't do anything but ask how to do it. jmr gets all credit.

@blackiris - If you want to update the first page - soft reset works with sc dsonei.

Hm...I heard that ysmenu can do bad things to the AK2i's ability to boot on a DSi. Will the methods shown in this guide do that?
