Can someone give me some advice on converting .cbz and .cbr files.

If I try and put the file directly through Picto nothing appears in the output folder. If I zip the .cbz/.cbr and thne put it through Picto a .cbds file is generated but Comic book ds can not read them.

I've got CBDS working on my R4 and even used Picto to convert PDF's into .cbds files which I can also view so I can't be a total noob

Can someone please help!

1: make shure the spaces between the words only contains (if any exists) one space. I've had that problem in the begining.
2: look if the directory is the right one.

Did you try renaming .cbz to .zip and .cbr to .rar?
Could also try extracting the files after that, and then rezipping/rarring

Been a while since I used ComicBook DS so don't remember if they needed renaming or not

PictoDS
"PictoDS is the PC tool (created by Nicom00k) that converts your pictures into a .cbds file to be used with ComicBookDS.
Those pictures can be in a folder, a .zip, a .cbz, a .cbr, a .rar."

source.
download
I use it myself alot and it works.

Since you can convert PDFs, you know the program itself is working fine.
So I would suggest that you're best bet is to decompress the CBR/CBZ files and put the folder of images through PictoDS.

yeah, that's what the "add folder" button is for. but you only can have the images for the file in the folder, nothing else.
