I just purchased a used PS3 Slim from CowBoom. When the console comes in, I'm going to open it up in order to slap some modchips in it and replace the heatsink grease.
While it's all opened up, I'd like to replace the housing of the console with a more colorful one. My PSP (phat) is lime green, so it'd be cool if it went with that.
However, I can't find anywhere that offers aftermarket PS3 housings that are colored (only white, black, or chrome). Does anyone know of a place I could find colored housings?
Short of that, a professional outfit somewhere that would paint the console for me? I know ColorWare used to do it but they don't seem to have the option on their site anymore.
InB4 paint it yourself because every time I see a "custom paint job" by an amateur it ends up looking like ****.
