I think Final Fantasy CC Rings of Fate has co op. But I've heard it lags badly.

Oh, sorry about the Metal Slug. Never played it, I was just assuming it had a co-op, being a Metal Slug title.

Dungeon Explorer has co-op, right?

And if there isn't a rpg-title which meets the requirements, we're free to at least suggest other FUN titles to play together. If that's the new criterium later in this topic, Mario Party is a fun co-op game, albeit witihout a storyline, which the OP mentioned he wanted to play.

Else check the multiplayer essentials list >_> If there's a storyline-co-op-RPG on the DS, it's probably listed there.

Kingdom Heats 358/2 Days is going to support up to 4 players in co op multiplayer. Too bad it's been delayed...until Spring apparently.

Metal Slug is not that fun without CO-Op Imo :/

Well, Contra 4 isn't an RPG, but it's a great co-op game as someone mentioned above.
All of the LEGO games are pretty good for co-op too, but they're not RPGs again.

I have a feeling we've already gone through all the co-op RPGs (released outside of Japan).
