Also, don't buy a Shock case, they're not as good as the original shells, and 90% of them will end up having a hinge snap.

The nail polish remover will take care of the market/pencil/etc.

It would even take off perm. marker.

Nail polish remover will take off the marker... and probably damage the plastic in the process. Seriously, don't. That stuff's lethal.

I don't get why you don't listen to that guy earlier who said he's done his with White Spirit and it worked (that stuff you get in DIY stores for cleaning paint out of brushes). If it's some petty forum rivalry then I see no point in dragging this thread out any further.

EDIT: Just to be safe, use acetone-free nail polish remover, you'll have no problems. I'm using this article I found on Google as a source. (Getting rid of yellow discoloration from iBooks).

If the DS was any other color besides white, I'd recommend Sharpies and dabbing it off with a paper towel before it dries. That's how I got the gray spots (from wear) off mine. Well, less visible at least. ;P

this thread is hilarious! I would like to hear of the result of putting aceatone or paint thinner on YOUR ds. Seriously though tooth paste, baking soda, vinegar or bleach are great for cleaning stuff and won't hurt your ds.

I heard a while back that dog spit works a charm, put some spam on the ds and watch your dog lick your ds clean!

Lol, if you saw, I clearly recommended acetone-free NPR. BTW, bleach isn't any better than acetone or paint thinner.
