Following the update to 4.2 mod is how I got rid of my cioscorp.
As for the IOS250 it was made with a maxed out rev. # just so it can't be overwritten by an official update, and is NOT part of cioscorp.

I did need a patched IOS70 by free the wad and the JODI mod of preloader when I was done as I updated bootmii and HBC

you really weren't supposed to mess with IOS250.

That's the "emergency backup IOS" for the cIOS.

OK I followed that guide. Now the system is reading 4.2u. I loaded NeoGammaR7 and it said that it was designed for cIOS14 and I was running 4.

I installed cIOS14 installer and all is well in the world now. USB Loader is working and looks like there are no issues.

Only thing that is off is my preloader is not installed. Is there any downside to installing it now after everything is working? Would hate to mess it all up
