Hi, i've tested your beta software "memchunkhax2" on my New 3DS XL with the "9.8.0-25E" firmware, and Menuhax...
Here is the first attempt, without launching "FTP-3DS"

My second attempt after reboot and launching "FTP-3DS"

My third attempt after reboot and redoing the second attempt...

In the third attempt, after it seems OK, my 3DS frozen, I rebooted it, everything is OK, not bricked

Took a lot of attempts, but following some of Ptrk25's advice, I got this to work. For me, menuhax was not working. I didn't try it much on Ironhax, but Ninjhax got it to work. I opened FTBrony, closed it, and then opened memchunkhax2. Took about 5 tries with this method. N3DSXL, 9.9.0.26-U, Ninjhax.

Edit: Got another one doing the same thing right after.

I'm trying it now as it apparently runs FBI in kernel mode, i'll let you know how it goes

PSA: Don't execute code that you don't understand from unverified sources. A source you can trust is fine, but you never know what you're running otherwise. Ask someone to check out the code first!

Also, assuming the binary is compiled from that source, it doesn't do anything at all. Don't waste your time.

Okay so I renamed the "menu.3dsx" to "boot.3dsx" and placed it in my root like some people have said.

I ran it 5 times via Menuhax 2.1

The first two times it got stuck on "Cleaning up"
The last 3 times all successfully gave me "DEADCAFE"
3/5 Attempts on 10.3 EU on Menuhack modified boot.3dsx

SOON. Right now it just owns the kernel to change an integer value to read DEADCAFE in hex.

atm it does nothing, but when it's finished you will be able to downgrade your system

Used MenuHax and renamed the file to boot.3dsx very consistent deadcafes.
