Said it -could- work with a workaround, but I don't think such a workaround has really been figured out and explained in detail though.

Well, if we both have a N3DS at this very moment, then all is well anyway... ;)

I feel that SNSHax is the easiest to do. All you need to do is allocate memory and start the N3DS' Safe NS. Am I right?

If Gateway still want to make money, they should implement these sooner or later.
even though I don't own a gateway, I'd be excited to see them announce 9.3+ support using these exploits, or at least a way to downgrade to 9.2. :)

Not until a couple of weeks, I'm guessing.

It all comes down to stability.

They released the haxs during the conference. They explained how to exploit the vulns.

Haha I have an O3DS XL on 9.2 master race already but my other 3DS is an O3DS on 10.3
I don't really mind if it takes longer for memchunkhax2 compared to snshax, but I plan on gifting that 3DS to my girlfriend whenever she can come over and pay me a visit. As long as it's done in time so that I can give it to her pre-hacked haha, otherwise it'll be a shame.
I did get the old Ironfall on it as soon as I could and installed the new menuhax so there's that. That should be all that's really needed yeah?
Wonder if we'll have to install a completely different exploit to actually do the downgrading or if it can be done from within userland with a privilege escalation exploit similarly to what people do on <=9.2...

Fair enough. So the devs just have to take all the techniques on board and implement them into a downgrader application?

No-one would ever need to bother with workarounds such as cryptofixing and other annoying patches destined to spoof firmware for any reason. You'd just have emunand on latest firmware and everything would just work.

I'd rather ask, why would you not want your emunand to be on the latest firmware?

Lazy mostly haha, but also because I'm not the one actually doing the cryptofixing, or making titles region free or whatever, so the inconvenience of that process isn't something that I actually personally notice.
