Hey guys I've been wanting to try Civilization Beyond Earth, and I found a cheap Steam key on eBay and bought it. I've downloaded the game and chose my initial settings like the faction and planet type, but really have no idea what to do now. The 'tutorial' only seems to guide you through the absolute basics like how to move your units. But I really need a manual of all the functions so I can make sure I'm paying attention to everything I'm supposed to be doing. Most of the so-called getting started guides are actually tips relating to specific parts of the game, which doesn't really help when I don't even know how to access those functions or why I need to use them! You can download the official Game Manual here: https://www.2k.com/manual/civbe/index.htm Absolutely everything on everything in the game can be found in the Civilopedia, which can be located in-game or here: http://www.civilopedia.info/civilopediabe/ Lots of tutorials available online as well. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask, and I'll try and answer as best I can. I've played a lot of Civ 5, not Beyond Earth, but they're very similar, so I should be able to answer them. EDIT: I would recommend finding a YouTube tutorial or something to start off. Just took a look at the Civilopedia and Manual right now and MAN would it look daunting for a newbie!
