yesterdays nightly

Hmm, interesting. Just tested on my own Mac and it works. What model is it? & What version of OS X are you running out of curiosity?

Trying to narrow down and see if it's perhaps something to do with audio devices.

Is there anything in the logs related to audio / sinks?

(If you're going to say something is broken in the future, it would be useful if you could provide more details, thanks. System information is particularly helpful for something like this, and a copy of your logs may be helpful.)

Gambia, The
Audio works fine for me using the Linux x64 nightly.
- The nightly is just horribly slow compared to the versions compiled from source.

iMac (27-inch, Retina, Late 2014) CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K (8 Threads, 4 Cores) @ 4.00 GHz Memory: 16.00 GB Uptime: 2 hours Disk Space: 126.53 GB Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4600, AMD Radeon R9 290X Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 OS: OS X El Capitan (Version 10.11.5, Build 15F34

anyway i changed audio devices from usb to internal and it works sad my dac is much better for audio and i can't use it for citra

and it would be great if os x had a log window or i knew a way to get logs but so little info about this stuff it's hard to report anything without a nasty response back devs need to instruct a little better or take more time to set the info for debugging the issues that way they get better feedback

I tried it and it did nothing. Do I still need an NAND.BIN file before save file is working, right ?
A file called Nand.bin is not going to do anything with Citra. You need to extract the contents of the nand dump to a folder called nand in the user folder.
It should look like the example on this page. https://citra-emu.org/wiki/Home-Folder
That page also shows how to dump your nand from your Nintendo 3DS system and set it up for Citra.
