ROM Hack Citra and DLC from cia

Hello,

Figured I'd ask here since I usually can find someone who is knowledgable on emulator updates.

I have some DLC cia files that I have downloaded from Wii-USB helper and that iso site and I was wondering whether it's possible to install / use these on Citra. Any posts I have looked up online mention needing to either patch the DLC into the rom directly, or dump your on DLC from a 3DS console.
