Can't wait for you to tackle IOS reloading it's been a long time coming

First off, kudos Waninkoko!

Okay, I'm still using rev17, but this broke the disc support.

Is the disc support fixed in rev19?

Yes Rev 19 is the best till today for Fat32/NTFS Users

. The only thing that must be fixed soon is the Triiforce Problem that it can`t find the Titlelist on USB Drives. Hope there will be soon a Rev 19B from Waninkoko that fixes the Triiforce Problems cause with Rev17 Triiforce worked very good. Thanks so far for this great Cios

and please fix Triiforce soon cause many are using this great tool.

Stop seeing the problems as TriiForce problems, they are nand emu problems. If TriiForce has a problem with a game on real nand, then you can call it a TriiForce problem.

It WAS in Rev15 and 16.
They didn't work with Neogamma.

Well, it was still working in SoftChip with disabled Sam & Max fix. I also consider these 2 cIOS revisions as broken, but the disc support was not totally broken.

Here we go. Time to upgrade from Rev17 to 19. Sounds like I will not be disappointed.

Not to get off topic but should I also upgrade my Hermes from v4 to v5?

Maybe its just me, but I updated Hermes from 4 to 5, and my Guitar Hero 5 dont load anymore on Configurable Usb Loader.

Hmm, did you merge the proper cIOS?

Select cIOS222. In the new menu, choose 38 merged 37 ect? I think v5 may be a little bit different with the cIOS that are available to choose from.

The faster load times are great, thanks Wanin! Is the "wads can't be installed with IOS 57" something that can/will be fixed or should I just get used to using 222 for wads?

As far as I know, cIOS rev19 with another Base IOS as IOS38 does not have the trucha bug and NAND access. Thats why it is not possible to install Wads with cIOS rev19[not IOS38], right?

Well it has the Trucha Bug. But other than IOS38, the others where given a better protection against missuse like cIOS does. However eventually we'll see a workaround somewhen.

After upgrading, I frequently see an error message stating that the "Wii System Files are corrupt"

I also cannot load anything from the disc channel.

I'm going to try going back to rev18 for now.

Hey guys, a simple question.
if i install rev19 using base ios38, will GX still work ok?
(Tried rev18 w/ base ios38, and while GX listed games alright, it gave a black screen when launching any of them.)

Just would like to know if it's "fixed" with rev19.
Thanks,

TSR

Did cios rev 19 break Wad Manager 1.5?
You need to use IOS38 as the base to have it work with WAD Manager.
You can use Herme's IOS v5. Make cIOS222 use 38 as the base.
In WAD Manager change the IOS to 222.
You can also use IOS36 in WAD Manager.

Thanks for the quick reply. Dug up info about the error message and came to the same conclusions as you specified.

Question, then - why would waninkoko recommend (via readme) to use 57 as the default? Is there a reason to use that instead of 38?

It's increases USB speeds.
I don't know what else it does.

Does it noticeably increase USB Speeds? Because on rev18 I didn't notice the difference for USB speeds in any of the homebrew apps I used. Or maybe I am thinking that this feature does something it doesn't do?
