Thanks KiiWii.

It still gets me that people blindly wait for/use this stuf without having the slightest clue what it does.

For those of you anxious to load from the disc channel right this moment, set IOS249 as the system menu IOS in preloader settings. This is the ONLY stable method until Da letter A releases an IOS70 with the Dip module in it.

They dislike it because it overrides nearly all the IOSes on your system, which *can* lead to some issues for some users. Personally, I don't mind it since it basically does what it's advertised to do.

@ da_letter_a> Any chance of using the newer IOS versions with the rev 14 DIP module? I notice some of the IOSes appear to be older versions with the version number bumped to the max. My only reservation is using older IOSes on the newer system menu versions.

Also, couldn't you just override select IOSes instead of the majority? I'm thinking (off the top of my head) 36, 37, 38, 55, 56 and 70 would be enough to play most games?

I kinda wish rev 15 would be released to fix the dual layer issue, though. That way both Mario Kart Wii and Brawl can work at the same time.

does the 3.4 uninstaller uninstall any version of cioscorp? can i use the lu64 uninstaller on a lu33 and lu55 wii? or should i use the "old wii uninstaller" ?

old wii's mean wii's that can install bootmii as boot2.

for those wii's i dont think it matters which one you use, but for lu64+ wii's you have to use the newer ones to not brick.

Just to be clear about this, LU64+ Wiis are not the only wiis with unvulnerable Boot2 (actually boot1).
Some wiis before that already had that too

i already have bootmii as boot2 on both wiis, so i shouldnt matter which uninstaller i use? also i dont have preloader on either of em, whats this big talk about not being able to install cioscorp w/o preloader?

u can use the old unistaller only for old wiis not for lu64+

and u can use the lu64+ unistaler for any wii, old and new, it doesnt matter.

and the preloader question?

u can install it if u want it, its just like bootmii, brick protection, only one difference, its like preloader can put hacks, can run files, can patch any ios to run in any system menu, only SM 4.2 doesnt work, etc.

Is there a certain IOS to select with preloader for the system menu that cIOSCORP uses that works better or best? I only ask this as I had 3.3 running and upgraded to 3.4 then that stopped my Rockband Beatles loading through disc channel and some other like wiifit plus ntsc and Fatal Frame 4 Jap. I have tested 3.5beta and this did not fix the problem. Having now DOP-IOS'd back and got neogamma r7 they all work fine though that but i did have to change preloader to read my sysmenu from 250 as it was loading from 60 and this brought up the stytem files corrupted screen.

Shiroitaka: Try using 249 instead of 250, also if you have bootmii as boot2 try and reinstall IOS60. A non-patched one. Maybe then it'll work.

using preloader 0.29 it would not let me select 249 did not appear as a selectable version, I dont have bootmii is it recommended?
