Hacking cIOSCORP v3.4 Release!

Hi, a question that is old but i can't find a response.

I have preloader installed, if i put cioscorp, lose preloader? In this case, i can install again after cioscorp?

no...preloader is still there after installing cioscorp. if you install a new system menu then that's the time you will uninstall preloader. better read a preloader thread.

it will definitely work on 4.2. the guys are still beta testing it. am also waiting for its release.

sorry im a little new to all this maybe someone can answer me all this.

I already had bootmii and homebrew working fine and tried using the backup launcher to load SSBM (which is my own copy thank you very much). I got it to work one time, then it always gave me a disc error 972.

Anywayz, so I installed this which sounded like exactly what I needed. Everything installed properly. But nothing still shows up and my backup loader still gives me the same error. From the readme it seems like I should just pop the disc in and it should go. But in either case it does not recognize it.
I also did some google searching and read about newer wii's dvd drives not being able to work properly. But my wii is not new haha.

But am I suppose to be loading these disc's with a specific program? And would I still load a backup loader on the IOS 249?

just set preloader to load IOS60

Because your loading preloader on IOS60. It wont work if you load IOS70.

It works on 4.2 and it's simply great.

You will not be disappointed, da_letter_a did an amazing job with this cIOSCORP, but again it is still in beta. Keep your eyes peeled.

you should load it as an original disc with disc channel... and if you have 4.2... you should wait for cIOSCORP v3.5... or set preloader to use IOS60... but i recommend the first thing

waiting anxiously... that's the only thing that's holding me for updating... i already have the safe installer and the preloader v0.30 ready

i have cioscorps 3.4 and upgraded system menu to 4.2e i found to get games running in the disc channel i had to set system menu ios to 249 in preloader 0.30 however if i go into wii system menu settings it freezes up, to solve that i just switch to ios 70

looking forward to cioscorp 3.5 oh aye.

i've patched IOS36 with ios222-mload

should remove the need for 2 IOS36's (1 for Mario, 1 for SSBB)

i've told da_letter_a about this hopefullyy he can include it, maybe he can use mload in the USB Instrument games IOS's aswell

Really, and the ios222-mload doesn't have the dual layer issue? Any tutorial for this? IOSes 37, 38 and 55 would probably benefit from it.

i can do 37/38/55 if need be, but i've already told da_letter_a about this so it should be part of 3.5 i have a modchip myself so i dont use cIOSCORP

PM me if u have MK and SSBB on disc to test further

da-letter-A has sorted ssbb & mario kart out in cioscorp 3.5, you only need 1 version of ios36 now. i have tested and it works sweet. thanks da letter a for you ace work
