guys you should wait before update to 4.0, without an update protection protection I think it's useless

How is it going with the upload/download?
WiiBlaster could you write a small howto about patching the DIP modules?
It doesn't need to be noob friendly, just the basic things, what has to be replaced with what or what has to be hex edited, I don't know exactly. I just need a hint in the right direction.

if the whole CIOSCORPS for 4.0 is finnished i would love to put it on my wii with system menu 4.0, the only thing that bothers me is the whole preloader/starfall/twilight hack that isn't going to work anymore... which mays not that nice to get your wii recovered from a brick...

Unpack cIOS WAD, unpack other IOS WAD, replace the 0001.app with the one from the cIOS wad, repack. I'm going to see about using Patch Mii to make an installer though...

yea its just a simple process replace the app1 in the CIOS to the IOS to make it work plus its been ran through the freethebug program before hand, Hard Brick if its not done right, or not Compatible

anyways, Originals will ask to update i can't block it, we need preloader to be updated to block updates on 4.0

brick blocked backups work through disc channel , GC backups can be ran from the disc channel also, if you have install the correct GC backup Loader MIOS to allow this

thats it so please no complaining that your Backups are asking for Updates or your Originals are asking for updates

I alreda read about this process but also read that it doesn't work with some IOSes so I left it

About the Updates, can't you insert the DIP module into the latest versions of the IOSes?
I Trucha-patched all IOSes which were on the Mario Kart DVD and now it doesn't ask for Updates anymore, can't the same be done with the DIP modules?
