Several of us are still working on the region patch. Give us time, either we will figure it out or one of the super coders will release a menu patcher update that is compatible with preloader... wouldnt be surprised if waninkoko was already working on one.

Keep up the good work icefire.... many of us know all the contributions you've made to the scene, and will continue to make... now lets put our heads together on this region free issue... If we can get it to work, i think i have found a way to "force" video to pal or ntsc on the disc channel (not sure if it will be pal 50 or 60 though as i can't test it until we manage to get region free)

). This app also looks nice, but I won't using it...have a Modchip and it's too dangerous...but good work anyway

@digitydogs: Are you shure that force always PAL/NTSC is a good idea? I have some games (Blast Work, I think) that only works if I force to nothing...when I force to PAL it won't boot...just as a reminder...and why is CIOSCORP better than cSM? I would prefer cSM...anyways..

my force idea isn't really forcing anything to be honest... just noticed a possible trick in the way the wii displays video modes that would allow us to to have pal play in color on ntsc tv's and vice versa (assuming ntsc shows black and white in pal also)

Once you install cioscorp your original IOS are gone from your wii.
The easiest way to undo is to simply upgrade to 3.3 or 3.4. It will wipe out the CIOS install and put you back to original IOS. And yes if you search the web the original's are out there.

Quick question it says Requires a SaveMii, SaveMiiFrii, or Starfall with recovery-Y-press installed.

This is just to recover from a brick isnt it? Its not to actually install cioscorp is it?

I have starfall installed but have yet to get a gc pad so I am unable to get into the recovery menu at the minute.

GC pad on order!

Basically means Mod chip is good too... it is not the CIOSCORP at all...
Just that it runs backups like a Modchip do (But than via software bla bla bla I know)

And if you working with IOS replace things via WAD's you can't unbrick since you replace CIOSCORP Cios's so... Modchip ftw!

Tried downloading twice with firefox and twice with IE with same results.
