Hacking CIOSCORP Installation Guide

I hate to say it but heres my little experience of creating a thread for this, Which I removed for the reasons One alot of people are not competent enough to install it, Even with proper instructions they still dont follow the instructions correctly resulting in a brick, I only helped create the CIOS Pack, But i'm not ever going to create a thread for it, I'll let someone else create it and get their hands dirty, So more power to you, Keep your thread!!

The problem is that people are going to david432 for answers.

He has already demonstrated that he lacks the FULL knowledge

of what this does, how it works, and how it should be implemented.

its as easy as a,b,d,f,c,e, lol

no honestly, i would remove the guide, its incomplete, doesnt follow a sequential order and will cuase more errors and mistakes than it will help

, for those that followed the cioscorp from the start and understand what they are doing they dont need a guide

for those that do need a guide, wait for the testing and tweaks to be improved and im sure the likes of djtaz would be more than willing to put his name to a complete guide

"it should still work"... leaves a lot up in the air. It's the lack of knowledge knowing what's going to happen versus I really don't bloody know.

The region free doesn't, the rescue-menu does..!!!

you know why...??? because they're informed, reading a tut will only give you a lot of questions to answer, and believe me questions like: ".......where do I put the CIOSCORP.zip, in the SD??? I have put it in the apps folder and doesn't work either.....", believe me..!!!

Yes take the guide down. It it obvious you don't understand it all and are incompetent to write a guide for it. Did you not see the last attempt for someone writing a guide to this?

Definitely for the best. Unfortunately, Aimen's post (No. 2 in this thread) quotes the guide and needs editing/deletion (I won't quote it here or you'd have the same problem with mine)

why pm you?, the cios pack is available from numerous people who have installed and tested what is available at present, i wouldnt personally want the responsibility of forwarding what i have working and i certainly would not want to give instructions in the of chance that i missed something

we are waiting calmly for future developments to this great realization of varied ideas.

when its ready for general release with full install and uninstall instructions i'm sure it will be


i know we are all trying to do our bit to help, just sometimes it better to leave those that are fully familiar to it

I've deleted the guide as most people who try to install it are total noobs and risk having they're wiis bricked. The package is still avaliable if you pm me but you have to prove you know what you're doing. So don't flood my inbox. Also all links have been taken down so using the links from the posts below won't work.

I lack the details, but I know what's going on and the noobs part was just for fun

I made a guide because I thought it would help people, people complained and I took it down. No reason to keep this thread going.
