Taiko no Tatsujin Mystery Adventure PLUS (or 3DS3+ for short)

This is a mod for 3DS3 that fully overhauls all the graphics and base songs and brings it into the modern era! This mod has a whopping 70+ new songs to play! This mod has a mix of official and custom charts made by the charters in the TJADB server! (https://discord.gg/Vxr7UcXJGW)
The English patch is based on the older English patch made by tiduscrying!

This mod contains a:

- New title screen logo
- Entirely new English translation (UI only, no RPG mode)
- Replaced the standard taiko font with the Nijiiro font
- New song select UI based on Niijiro
- Entirely new base-game song list
- Replaced Classical genre with VTuber genre

And here's the download link! The download contains the mod, as well as a save file that has all the songs unlocked from the start (so you don't have to play the pesky RPG mode :3)

The main mod uses Luma LayeredFS!

Most likely not, there's not really a reason to translate it on here when you could just play through it in English on Switch or just watch a video playthrough of it. I still haven't figured out how to do text editing properly either lol

Didn't knew they translated it on Nintendo Switch ! Oh well, I do like the selection of custom tracks either. That's the main attrait after all.

I've installed the base mod no problem. But how do I go about installing the DLC songs? I see you've linked each of the songs in the spreadsheet, but do I use them as-is or do I have to convert them first? And am I supposed to use the Taiko 3DS3 DLC Builder and Switcher tools to install them, or something else? A very simple and short step-by-step would be helpful, I could figure out the rest myself.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the download for the DLC songs.

All the DLC songs are in a separate DLC cia that I can't post here for obvious reasons, you'll have to find a DL for it somewhere else (mlp villain played by John de Lancie)

Make sure you didn't have any other DLC installed for the game beforehand

I looked into the song list spreadsheet and noticed that i miss a couple of songs, after downloading the dlc i was able to get more songs but not the ones in the spreadsheet,I was wondering if this has something to do with the dlc switcher (if i load anything that isn't base game my 3ds crashes) or if I just downloaded the wrong dlc,if so i have no idea on where to find it and how i could remove the "original" dlc

You can open FBI and go to Titles, find Mystery Adventure (the name will be in Japanese, so at the bottom of the list) and you will find the DLC there.
The base game is like 400 MB, the update is like 26 MB, and anything after that is the DLC, so you can just select that and delete it.

Hey sorry to be a pain I was just wondering if there is a way to have both the mod and original game at the same time on the home screen. I'm not sure if changing the title ID would work or I would have to use 3ds bank if that is even possible, also great work on the mod its great

Unfortunately not, the mod goes over the original game files and you can't really have two of the same game installed.
You could always just install the mod, and then turn off game patching from the luma menu when you want to play the base game

Hey I just wanted to let you know I have got a patched cia working on the same home menu as the vanilla translated game I have not tried the dlc but I can try it and let you know. I only tried it on my 3ds not citra.
I decrypted the cia and changed the romfs so you dont even need to use luma patching it just works
