I didn't even download it. As soon as the save window opened, it warned me it was a VIRUS.

Avast could be acting up, but I will wait for now.

.... I edited my first post. It was a user error, file is fine.... so how bout those (Insert Sports Team of choice here)

lolwut

So it detected the virus without even looking at the file inside?

That's some slick software you have there.

avast is horrible software...

atleast use AVG or something.. avast is just nasty..

and no there is no viruses... i downloaded and scanned with SYmantec Corporate w/ latest definitions

anyone get wbfs to work? Whenever I try to use any commands it says it's an invalid arguement. I admit I'm not the most linux savvy, but I'm also not a complete noob to prompts (grew up on DOS) I even tried copying the command straight from the txt file and it keeps saying it's a bad arguement. Or more specifically it acts as if I hadn't put one in to begin with.

Please can somebody explain what this is.

Thanks.

hmm... actually, all commends seem to be working except for init... Guess I'll screw around some more before I give up.

You have to init your complete drive, not just the partition. So /dev/sdc instead of /dev/sdc1.

I successfully dumped Wii Chess on my USB Stick, larger games seem to fail. ./wbfs ls lists the game as correctly dumped, so i created the launcher file for the HBC with ./wbfs mkhbc. Works, too. On the Wii I get a confirmation that IOS222 had been loaded, but then I just get a black screen ... Dumping doesn't seem to work for larger games though. I will certainly investigate more in this software tomorrow

Thanks.

It's an app that sends your social security number, bank account info, and mothers maiden name to me, then will completely brick your wii, while anally raping your grandmother and forcing you to watch.

ok, but seriously... let's take a look at the title... cIOS USB beta3 (IOS222) + WBFS Tool

cIOS = custom IOS
USB = universial serial bus
beta3 = third beta version
IOS222 = InputOutputSystem version 222
WBFS = Wii Backup File System
Tool = you

I think I may have it figured out. About to try it out... probably in the next 10 min or so. We'll see how that goes.

Can someone confirm that the Beta 3 with dip actually adds 222, I installed, and then double checked I used the proper file, but it seems to have installed at 202. I never had usb 2.0 beta 1 or 2 installed, and I used the offline method...anyone shed some light...and yah positive its the one from kwiirk post...
