Homebrew CIA install speeds

Hey all, setup a9LH a few days ago and i am noticing my speeds for installing CIA games is pretty slow about 2-3mb per sec progress speed. is this normal? Its a super fast PNY turbo speed 70mb/s class 10 micro sd card

Yeah, it's normal seems to be a problem inherent to .cia installation.

thanks, was just curious. not a big deal. i can wait 10-20 minutes to install a huge game ill play for hours

CIA installations comes in two speeds.

Slow and slower.

I heard copying .3ds format games to an SD and pressing select is considerably faster, but I'm not sure.
