ROM Hack chrono trigger issues

is there a reaon cheats dont work for this game or did i just get the wrong patch i got the misc one and i have to run it using r4 official firmware or it freezes at time portals in ysmenu

If I remember correctly, you have to edit the USRCHEAT.dat file and delete a bunch of games from the list. That's what I do. I recommend R4cce, that's what I use, even a dummy can use it.

Also, for the stuck time traveling thing, it's a Anti-Piracy Square put into the game. Need the cheat to disable it.

@Shadow: You don't need to delete any cheats using YSMenu... that's official R4 firmware.

@xtreme: There is no patch. Use a clean ROM and enable the AP Bypass code.
