That and a few characters have terrible terrible written 'accents'. And Frog speaks 'ye olde english' which would be ok the trait wasn't flanderized all to hell. It seemed nigh incomprehensible to me.

It just annoyed me a LOT when I tried to play FoE. I'm glad that Crimson Echoes was released in a mostly complete form.

I think he may be talking about compared to Chrono Trigger.
It has a new story, old characters, new graphics, it's like the not-as-good little brother of Chrimson Echoes, a hack which you REALLY should give a try.

For the record, that was from an alpha of Crimson Echoes (it's not in the beta version, where the non-placeholder dialog is in place). Have no idea if it's in FoE. I *think* the new versions of it are based on the beta rather than the alpha, so probably not. Not sure why they keep using that screenshot, anyway.
