Ok I bought a chipped switch that Boots into hekate/atmosphere automatically. It gives me the option to pick cfw or ofw. Now I'm just familiar with using sx is but I want to just use it as a regular switch to play actual bought games. Can anyone point me in the right direction to using ofw for the time being?

Oh it was an unpatched one

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Just pick ofw then?
If you want to play online and there is no emunand on it you should be prepared to get banned.

@Shadow#1 He is probably talking about this https://gbatemp.net/threads/interna...ybitsy-m0-express-guide-files-support.508068/
Yes that's the one!

Might be fine, but you never know if the previous owner used CFW and installed NSP games on sysNAND, or went online in emuNAND. When buying a premodded console you just have to accept that you might be banned, unless you trust the precious owner not to have done anything stupid.
Why buy a modded console if you're not interested in CFW though? They typically cost more.

Thanks for advice! It has an emanund on it. Was given three options to boot. I almost picked sys with cfw, until I remembered pick stock lol.

Oh got a better deal on the modded tablet, then the non modded ones. People were price gauging $400+

I would recommend selling it and buying a legit one if you're not interested in CFW, you'll make some money in the process. But I would recommend reading up on CFW and the benefits of it, you can use cheats, save editing, amiibo without actually owning them, emulation, etc. There are lots of benefits other than just piracy. Plus being able to try out games before you buy is a big benefit, even if you're not a fan of piracy, a lot of games just don't offer a demo.
