Hacking Chiip programmer correctly built, but doesnt woks

hi
yesterday i built a programmer for the wii chiip, but it doesn´t work. neither with avrdude.exe nor with twinavr.
i rang throught the programmer with my multimeter, and its all ok.
i´ve got a pci d-sub card, and i dont know how to set this card in the bios on epp/ecp, can u halp me plaese?

i think the programmer isn´t getting reliable voltage from the parallel port, or could there be other solutions?

don't use the parallelport to power the chip, it's usually too weak in modern PCs. use the USB port instead to provide the 5V needed.

Or try using an older pc, the paraller port on older pcs is more reliable.
