Cherophobe is an original FPS in which you must defend yourself against the unending assault of smiley faces. For every Smiley face that you defeat you will be rewarded with ten points (the high score is automatically saved when you die). Your health drains away when a smiley face is too close to you and when you run out of health the game restarts. Scattered around the environment are health packs which will raise your health. There are also boxes containing additional ammo. Like the smiley faces the health packs and ammunition will infinity re spawn but always in random places that are out of view so you will need to continue wandering around the map to find them.

Use the nunchuck analog stick to move.
Use the wiimote pointer to turn and aim.
Press or hold the B button to shoot.
Hold the A button to stop turning.

Looks very nice (really reminds me of Wolf3D for whatever reason...)!
Btw. would you be able to include a different type of enemy (design) if I'd send you an .obj/.stl?

Sure. Just provide me with the mesh in obj format and edit its texture into the available space in this texture atlas.

Since it will be replacing the smiley face you can obviously use that section of the atlas for your texture.

Here is the mesh used for the smiley face to give you an idea of how large it should be and what direction it should be facing.

when I'm done updating the game I'll compile a copy of it with your model and texture.

Thanks for the reply!
Just one question: How did you apply the texture to the mesh?
When loading the mesh into an editing-program (Blender, Maya...) it just shows up as a shadeless, white sphere (or at least half of it).
Is the texture like a "texture from view" without particular coordinates?
Thanks again,

~TLOZ~

I've updated the game to v1.0.

I’ve added a tile screen.
There is now a home menu pause screen.
The cursor is now a nice Wii style pointing hand.
Now when you hold down the A button you wont turn.
When you shoot the shots now go in the direction that the cursor is pointing in instead of simply going in the direction of the camera.
I tweaked a lot of number (you turn faster, enemies move faster, they do more damage, there are fewer health pickups, etc)
I’ve also added background music.

The music used in this game is Melancoly by Grace Valhalla.

For anyone that doesn't know there is also now a DS version which is posted over here

Here is the modified version that TLOZ requested (using the model and textures that they provided)
