Gaming Cheats to get Pokemon event items

There are several cheats showing to get the event items, all show [L + R] before the item.
I've enabled the cheats, pressed the L and R buttons, but don't get the items.

What am I doing wrong?

One of your L, R buttons are busted

Sometimes only enabling one code helps. Try only enabling that one code, with nothing else on and then see if it works.

I know my L & R buttons aren't broken.

I'll try turning off the 200% exp mod code since thats the only one I have on cos it was frustrating having to grind for the Elite 4
