Hacking Cheat DB not Found

New Acekard 2i working great with my DSi. Had some save issues but with the new firmware 4.16 those have been resolved.

having problem with cheat DB not found. There's some default ones in the cheat folder- cheat DAT, urscheat dat, and XML. I overide all of them with the newest version from the cheat DB but it still does not find any cheats. Error- cheat db not found. Hmmm

Can the default location be incorrect?

you should look into akaio: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php?title=AKAIO

it is like the official but has many (MANY) fixes, updates, enhancements, etc. on the official cheats go in the "__ak2\cheats" directory. i would grab the latest official update (http://cheats.gbatemp.net/) and overwrite what is there. you only need one of those files, so pick the format you wish. i've always tested cheats for narin using the "usercheat.dat" file.
