if you are intend to use your flash cart to cheat alot
i would strongly recommend acekard and use AKAIO as your firmware
you won't regret on that (for using cheat codes)

please take note the old r4 doesn't support SDHC microSD
you can always use wood r4 1.11 as your replacement firmware
its one of the best out there

i had never try the wood r4's cheat engine but i guess it is identical with AKAIO's cheat engine

No, and stop buying R4 Clones. There are like 1000 other R4 Clones out of one of the real, original R4. Don't buy R4s that include other names like R4 Gold, R4 SDHC, R4 Deluxe, etc. Those are fakes.

To buy a real R4, go to http://shoptemp.com/products/R4-DS-Revolut...-Lite-p-29.html. It's only 6 USD with a great alternative firmware known as Wood Firmware. It's perhaps the best Firmware for the R4, it's updated somewhat frequently, and it has great cheat support, which means you don't have to worry about corrupted save files and anonymous freezes.

DO NOT BUY A (clone) R4 AT ALL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

...Well, most R4s as of now are clones, meaning they aren't made by real flashcart teams, which causes these cards to have crappy software.
Go to Shoptemp and get either an Original R4 (which works best with the Wood R4 software), or get an Acekard 2i (works on all DS models [will require premium flashing service if used on a v1.4 DSi], works with microSD and microSDHC, and works best with AKAIO).

This clone is getting on my nerves.
I just saved a pokemon file, and it renamed a folder into some weird characters.

I just ordered the acekard 2.1 and the R4 original.
This site sells for a steal, but the shipping is kinda cumbersome.
