Is there any way to get cheats for Football Manager 2022? I find the game extremely fun but in the middle of the season the players get injured and get excessively tired and it breaks the experience.

For whole cheat there is cut, for line of code there is no cut and you have to use copy. The UI is inconsistent and one of them is missing paste below. And you are right about no option to create a cheat from scratch, you have to copy and edit.

For more serious editing I would use PC. Breeze is good for a quick edit.

cut/paste let you rearrange except putting something to the end of the list is often a four step process.
1. Cut
2. Paste above the last ( as there is no paste below )
3. Cut the last item
4. Paste it above

there is no direct copy, copy is a two step process
1. cut
2. Paste it back (now it is in the clip board and you can paste it anywhere you like except at the bottom)

How do you update your own codes to a updated game?

I don't do that very often, I am nomadic when it comes to games but I do rebase code made by others and on rarer occasions my own, the steps are the same

1. Look at the code looking for clues of the game behavior ( datatype, static vs dynamic, depth if dynamic )
2. Try a simple rebase on a deep pointer ( put the old cheat on and press + on the cheat ). Some times that is all that is needed.
3. Apply change in first offset to other cheats to see if that is all that is needed.
4. Do the search again if needed. ( usually clues from step 1 helps )
5. Disassemble ASM cheats if that is applicable and gather some clues ( there is always some clue, some more useful than others ).
6. Some ASM cheats requires close to full effort. Do that if interested.
