Just found some bells. Going to do a search real quick for it and see if that will find something. Float brought up nothing. The value I found for nook miles didn't work, but I will let you guys know that there are two addresses that change it but it doesn't change the actual value that you have. Trying bells now since I can drop it and pick it up again and again.

Alright so I have found that for both bells and nook miles, there are 2 addresses that change the display value but not the actual value. I'll look into it more tomorrow when I get off. They dont seem to have float values either.

Already tried everything. Noting sticks. And there is no float value. I think it may has something to do with the time.

Well it does say in the game that the time pass as like in real time , and it also let you choose the island south pole or north pole , for the diffrent seasons in each continent

Yeah, Im starting to get a bit skeptical that you can just freeze a value in this game. It might be something better off as an assembly cheat that removes subtracting the value spent instead of freezing the value you have. Im not an expert in that though.

There might also be an integrity check that we don't know about. It certainly wouldn't surprise me. It could have something to do with how the game needs to store its data across multiple profiles, so player data, and game data are not as simple as they are in most games.

Either way, it is certainly an interesting game. Im curious to see what the cheats look like if somebody does manage to figure it out.
