I don't think you need a save, you can get Zonai devices right at first tutorial islands even before doing a shrine (but you need to do the first shrine to have the power to attach parts), I mean you can use inf health or no cold cheat + use the moonglide jump or faster speed and the whole process will be just a few minutes...
The zonai devices I think they are on the snow part, there's some big globe somewhere around to put some parts from enemies into a small pot in front of it and you will easily get the wing and the fan...
Then just attach like 3 fans each glued together to the very rear of the center of the wing, use inf battery cheat and you can easily test flying it, sadly after a bit of time the wing will start blinking green until it disappear while the fans don't.
It really seems to be some timer cause if you land while it's blinking it will stop and stay there, but as soon as you get in the air it seem to resume from the last timer, kinda like a flying time timer of some sort.
I think it's really the best and most fun thing in the game, I did a huge 4 wing airplane and then get very disappointing with it dissapearing mid-air in very little time, a cheat to make them stay would be the best thing EVER cause I literally played hours of the game and only still did 1 shrine and have been doing planes and other fun stuff LOL
