Mario Odyssey cheats aren't working for me...
I can active the cheats in the SX OS menu (and exit with + button) for unlimited money but nothing is happening in the game

Fall off a cliff or collect some coins. The amount won't update until you gain or lose some coin.

So the Ki code is:

041F0000 54c2e964 00000064

The value it sets is the last part of the code. 00000064 in hexidecimal is 100 (64 is 100 but you put 0's before it so that the last part of the code is 8 characters long).
If you type "x in hexadecimal" into google where x is the number you want it should give you the right code to replace the 00000064 with.

what kind of search did you used? if the first search is non Exact Value then it could take a super long time to search, if you want to cancel then push the Home button, push B doesn't seem to work

Yeah i have done that too and while it works it messes with reputation so much. Like not not being able to give gifts not being able to fortify the village and not being able to get notes in chests (or really any chests).

So much this! Max codes are great, but at 99, some games will shut treasure chests in your face for having too many already.

i have put a few games cheats inside the folder.
the cheat menu can see the game id and title id, but when i press select cheats, it would always says no cheats found for this game.

Does anyone know if there's a way to do a cheat code where you can do the following:
Button Combination 1: Increase value at the address in a specified increment (with a max possible value) OR increase the value at the address to the next highest in a predefined list of values.
Button Combination 2: The same as above but you'd decrease the value.

It looks like a code using code type 7 and code type 8 would be able to accomplish some of what I'm asking for but I'd need to be able to define a max/min value or set a specific set of values so the user doesn't exceed the max/min value and crash the game or there's also a case where the value I'm wanting to change doesn't linearly increase/decrease and if you were to linearly increase/decrease the value you'd crash the game.
