what the...? usually cheats made for Switch might not work on emulators, this is the first time I have ever heard of a reversal

Kind of interesting. The mystery can be solved when the code is made available. Switch cheat code that is emulator centric is way more strange than the code it self though.

Double emulation! Isn't PC direct emulator far better than an emulated Switch emulator?

you are the Pro on Switch memory regions, maybe it is the same as Akai Katana Shin, where the memory region is not in main, heap or base

See those segments label as ModuleCodeStatic? That is the main for dynamically load modules. I bet what you found is probably in ModuleCodeMutable which is normally main's data area.

For these retro game they are likely to be static ( and in this case static relative to the module's start address ). Normally you can find a pointer in the normal main pointing to the start address of loaded module

If they are not static then it is inconvenient to hack as the tools don't support them.
You have to manually change the main address to be the module's and you have to go back to using Jnoexs to dump. ( Jnoexs is full manual, noexs sysmodule would need a special customization to support this case )
Do the pointer search and you have to have another pointer to get to module main
Painful for sure.

Since such cases are very few I don't adapt the tools to support it

Question about Edizon
I'm playing Trails of Cold Steel IV
and trying to cheat by changing values, I don't know how to make a proper cheat.

The values I'm trying to change is related to Link EXP / character bonds with each other,
so I just need all of them to be at the same value to level up,
but it involves 100+ HEAP addresses since it involves so many characters

is there a way to change values of multiple addresses at the same time using Edizon?

It is not specific to edizon, you can make a cheat code with a loop to hack your value if you know what you are doing
code type 3 is loop
