hi all guys. i have a problem and i hope someone can help me. i buy from Amazon and rp2040 for oled, why from AliExpress i get 3 defective chip. this kit come with a really thin flat cable. i try to solder It at 300 degrees but my welder are not professional and at 300 degrees it don t work good. so i put 350 and i soldered all but one contact Is gone .. it has not been heated for more than a second at a time but i fuxxed It up... can i solder a cable from the resistor to one rp2040 chip point or i need to replace everything? if i can solder It to a chip point, what point i need to use? i attached the chip and cable photo. i hope i dont need to disconnect everything why this Is the second time i disconnect everything for the same problem and i'm worried about i can fuxxed all up why desoldering the 3.3v Is not that easy and much component are in there:( the tnx in advance if someone can help and sorry for my bad english

If you solder some wire from the CLK trace to that D point on that cable you should be ok. As long as that trace is still intact it should work.

The point you marked is only used for anchoring, it's not connected to anything. Just verify D/A/C points with multimeter and make sure they are soldered properly. Also avoid that quick soldering ribbon cable as it's copied from an very old quick soldering ribbon included with unflashable oled chips. The heatsink screw goes right thought the ribbon cable which will put stress on D point when you screw in the heatsink, in some cases it will even rip D point off motherboard.

By the way your solder joints looks cold, use a more powerful iron or higher temperature settings

You don't need to buy another chip, just desolder the ribbon cable and wire D/A/C points directly with thin enameled wire.

If you must use a ribbon cable, get something like the one included instinct v6 chip, which doesn't go through the screw hole. The one in the last picture looks fine.
