Recently I ordered an Oakley microfiber protective sun glass bag. There are a few sizes but for the DSi XL you want to get the Large. I got it for 5.99 USD shipped on ebay.

The bag fits the DSi XL like a glove and since the top lid has a shiny finish it attracts finger prints making the bag good for wiping off finger prints. It doesn't provide much shock resistance but I never really drop my handhelds.
