just use the dock it will only take 3 hours to fully charge. unofficial chargers will take a lot longer. even the official charger without the dock takes way longer.

Please stop spreading false information. The Switch charges at it's maximum power draw when docked or when undocked using the official 15v charger.

I don't doubt your experience but that should not be the case. Something is wrong.

I plugged my Switch in to charge this morning at 8am @ 65% and then at 2pm it was @ 94%.. is that pretty normal charging speed? I normally just charge overnight so haven't taken notice till now?

he plugged it into the cable not the dock.
