Hardware Changing your Region

Hey guys, i changed my region settings to mexico because my Credit Card wont work on a US e-shop. Will there be a difference when theres a new system updates? will i get a different things like different exclusives etc.? or will i just get what US gets.Thanks!

P.S. i live in the Philippines thats why my credit card didnt work on a US e-shop.

You still get the same FW updates as the US and at the same time so don't worry about leaving your 3DS with your country set to Mexico. But e-shop content may vary like in Europe where the Swedish e-shop got less content than the UK one, E3 videos for example.
So keep fiddling with the region settings to compare and see if there's anything Mexico's e-shop is missing.
