Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. does anyone know how to change the player number of a wiiremote that is on?

You hit the home button and reconnet the Wiiremotes, then power on the ones you want to be 1, 2, 3, 4 in the correct order.

Either that or you power down the console and turn turn it on and power the remotes on in the order you want them to be.

I've had problems when bringing my wiimotes over to a friend's house and connecting to thier wii. Mine are usually set for 1st or 2nd, but when becoming 3rd or 4th, I ran into a problem.

I just followed Nintendo's directions of opening up the battery cover and pressing the red button as I pressed the red button under the SD slot and everything worked out fine. (Bit of a pain to remove the battery cover when you've got the Wii Condom on though)
