Hacking CFW rom save to .cia

So I have been playing Mario Kart 7 through a retail cartridge, but I turned it into a .cia and installed it with FBI. Now, how can I transfer the save data from the cartridge to the .cia? (It is a 512kb save and has been play on 10.3)

I think this is how you do it with savedatafiler:
1. Insert game
2. Go to User tab
3. Select CTR Card
4. Press Y
5. When it's done exporting go to the SD tab
6. Press A to import

Not sure how to do it with homebrew, though.

Yeah figured it out myself, except for step 6 it's R+A to import the save data to sd. Thanks anyway!
