Hacking Cfw plus emunand

Ok, so I'm not really clear on one thing. I have Palatine cfw installed, no emunand. If I install emunand, could I then install 7.x encrypted games on my 4.5 cfw 3ds? With clean cia off course.

I just want to know is there a need for me to install emunand or not.

no, whatever your 3ds sysnand is is what game save encryption you are going to be stuck with

I've seen somewhere here the tutorial for installing cias on emunand, then there is some swapping of cards and turning off the 3ds. Basically, I wanna play Majora's Mask and MH4, and that's it
