Hacking CFW Help?

Hello there!

I just decided to brush some dust of my neglected 3DS XL (EU) and thought I'd try my hand on getting up and running with some CFW, but I'm rather confused when looking through the scene...

My 3DS now runs on firmware 6.3.0-12E, and due to earlier mistakes updating my PSP, I'm rather reluctant in updating it without checking around first...

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a Tutorial? would be much appreciated

seems I got it working just fine using that guide (really nice guide)!
Just thought I'd ask, even though the guide said that the mod were able to withstand system updates... is it OK to update if there comes a new system update?

Yes it has been for a while, but if nervous wait a couple of days after update comes out to do so. This is a great community and many users with hardmods update to test with the peace of mind they are a simple NAND flash away from restoring system.
