Hello,

I'm stuck. I have a brand new Switch running 3.0.0 with serial XAW1002110----. I followed "" and after injection the Switch shows the Custom Logo Splash screen, then shows Nintendo and goes to the normal Nintendo home screen. I do not get the screen shown in the video at time 7:46 but instead the normal stock Nintendo home screen.

Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you.

"Actually, I had (have) the same thing. After the splash logo it seemed for me that it didn't worked and the console when to the original FW. However that was clearly not the case, because if I click on "Album" while pressing the R button, I can access the homebrew menu and do everything from there, I can even access the hekate screen from there by pressing on Kosmos and rebooting to hekate. So perhaps you have the same "problem", that it doesn't seems like it is working because you don't land in the hekate menu right away."

This was the issue. Hey man thanks. I did what you said, moved to album, then holding "R" first, selected with "A" and it worked.

Did you check to see if your switch is ipatched?

I have not. I actually didn't know about that. I figured it was ok bc the serial was so low and 3.0.0.
I will test for that. I'm going to wait for my jig on Tuesday and will post back that day to avoid the paperclip.

Thank you.

why wait on the jig? if the paperclip worked for you, that's it, just check if your switch is patched, and if it's patched that's it, you're done

a jig is useless in your situation

Wouldn't any system on FW 3.0 be unpatched?

In any case you'll probably want to set it to auto RCM, after which point you won't ever use the jig again. I haven't touched my jig since the first day I used it.

I disnt want to damage pins constantly using a paperclip.

The issue is I can't get it to work after the injection, it shows the custom boot screen then goes into a Nintendo logo and normal OS.

seems like you're missing some files

so, what exactly are you using? try with kosmos

try formatting your sdcard (fat32) and try with another sdcard

Actually, I had (have) the same thing. So perhaps you have the same "problem", that it doesn't seems like it is working because you don't land in the hekate menu right away.

Is there actually an option to access hekate quicker than going to albums and rebooting in hekate mode? I have auto RCM activated, since I don't want to shortcut the pins at every start, but therefore I have to access hekate everytime I want to power my switch off, because I heard otherwise it will still consume much of the battery.

there's no other way

either to reboot to payload or power off the switch and inject the payload again

if you use atmospher 0.8.4 or higher you can turn it off normally and will not enter RCM, saving those extra steps
