so just a bit ago, my games were working just fine on cfg usb loader, but then my usb got damaged and had to be repaired, but it failed so i lost all the memory. then i looked through all my folders to find my files, and i got almost all of them, but cfg usb loader doesnt seem to load my games (they stay with black screens). i tried unistalling and installing the wads, launching it from the homebrew app, redownloading cfg usb loader and the games, and none of them work. does anyone have a fix for this? or can anyone send me files with the loader? also usb loader gx gets stuck on reinitializing devices and wiiflow just stays in the loading screen.

I dont have one currently so for the meanwhile would an sd card work with a usb loader or only flash drives/usb hdd?
yes only with wiiflow lite or Configurable usb loader v70.

usb loader gx does not read games on SD card at the moment, maybe in the near future, listen on the forum.

"repaired"? How exactly?

You're dealing with file corruption. So you should get a new usb flash drive, or better external hdd (highly recommended), and put your games etc. on it.
but cfg usb loader doesnt seem to load my games (they stay with black screens).
Cfg Usb loader is not the problem, your usb flash drive is.
i tried unistalling and installing the wads, launching it from the homebrew app, redownloading cfg usb loader and the games, and none of them work.
Same as above.
also usb loader gx gets stuck on reinitializing devices and wiiflow just stays in the loading screen.
Well that's because of, again, the usb flash drive. And not usb loader or Wiiflow. You should get a different drive.
And BTW, Use this version of USBLoaderGX by @blackb0x, it has many added improvements..

so i tried using a different usb, and i ran into some problems while running games. the screen when i opened a game says,

Configurable Loader 70

Auto-start game: SP2E01 (for my case) not found
Press any button...
and then when i press a button, it launches a cfg usb loader, but it is completely empty and white, with the time being correct and the bottom right saying 1/0. also when i go to the bottom and top it shows the settings.

also thought it would be a good idea to mention that cfg usb loader says something about a game partition when i start it up, then when i press A then it just shows an empty screen with the bottom and top options still. is it something with my usb or something with the usb loader?

First and foremost, you should post a syscheck as you were told in the first reply above..

Do you have that specific game in the usb flash drive, that you're trying to launch?

Does the usb flash drive pass the usb initiation screen when you launch cfg usb loader?
Does your usb flash drive has 2 partitions? If so, just format it to use just one.
Do your Wii games appear in WiiBackupmanager? Do GC work (in Nintendont), if you have any?
You should check if in the tip banner inside cfg usb loader that you have Wii games checked in order for them to appear.
You should re-download your games, from all we know your old flash drive was corrupted and those games in there must've been as well. So you shouldn't use those files..
is it something with my usb or something with the usb loader?
You should try with the USBLoaderGX version i linked above.

the thing is, im pretty sure since the wii gets stuck on certain screens while loading, i usually turn it off since the wiimotes dont work on the screen. but since i turn it off, that might be what was corrupting my data, and might also be why i am told to format my drive when i put it in my pc.

i will try and redownload the games and see if they work. also the games are probably corrupted since none load on my sd or usb.
First and foremost, you should post a syscheck as you were told in the first reply above..
the second time i opened the syscheck, it got stuck on a screen and froze my wii.

i ran into a problem with wiiflow and usb loader gx, wiiflow loads up the game like normal and since im playing wii sports + resort, then it asks me what i want to play like normal, but when i choose an option, then the screen goes black and stays black. and usb loader gx does not show my games, and whenever i try to make a channel for it, it always says that the usb drive is not a wbfs drive, even though i have a wbfs folder. is it maybe that my usb device isnt compatible? or would it be something else.

Is your sd card in the unlocked position?
If it isn't, it should fail to write the syscheck file on your sd card. I would suggest using a different sd card adapter nonetheless..
Unless you are using older sd cards then it's probably just failing..

Most likely just a corrupted wbfs file. Re-download the game and try again.
and usb loader gx does not show my games,
What version of USBLoaderGX are you using? Are you using the one i linked to above?
is it maybe that my usb device isnt compatible? or would it be something else.
Here's what you should do:
plug the usb flash drive on your pc, launch WiiBackupmanager and see if it shows any games on your usb. if it doesn't, format it as fat32, download a new game (not the ones that you already have), transfer just 1 game with WiiBackupmanager, then plug it on the Wii (port 0).

Download the version of USBLoaderGX i linked above and overwrite the one that's on your sd card, plug it back then launch USBLoaderGX from the Homebrew Channel, and see if it passes the usb initiation phase (it shouldn't display the countdown..), launch it in USBLoaderGX..

its okay now, i got cfg usb loader to read my sd card and launch games fine, but you were right, the games were corrupted, because as soon as i finished redownloading it and launching it, it worked.

What about the syscheck? You need to know if your softmods are up to date.

So it didn't freeze on you this time?
Your syscheck looks good.

the thing is, im pretty sure since the wii gets stuck on certain screens while loading, i usually turn it off since the wiimotes dont work on the screen. but since i turn it off, that might be what was corrupting my data, and might also be why i am told to format my drive when i put it in my pc.
That's pretty possible, when you put off your usb while using it on Wii it really (*****) (scraps?,does really anything and lock?)it. That happened to me, that was long ago, i was putting off the usb while the Wii was open, running a game, and the usb was always having random files everywhere with lot of stock and etc. A time i wanted to copy my smash bros brawl to my usb using CFG and it took days. I finally shut it cause it was too long, and my usb was sometimes accessible to see the root folders, but the wbfs folder is inaccessible and corrupted and the usb is unformattable. ! corrupted ! Now that never happens again. Anyway i bought a Wii u i said bye to my Wii 🥲 ( :,) ). And there's no very better way than using another usb (or SD, I'm doing this too) and don't forget to format it in fat32, that can really help for that type of bug maybe not this time, but happy it's working now. Enjoy your wii
